Denver Beta 2026
Beta Safety
Effective September 28, 2026
The beta tests the app in the real world. It is never a reason to take a risk you would not take on an ordinary run.
Before You Go
- Review the Course, distance, elevation, surface, start, finish, and access notes.
- Check weather, air quality, daylight, trail status, closures, and parking restrictions.
- Choose a Course within your current fitness and technical ability.
- Tell someone where you are going when testing alone or in a remote area.
On The Course
- ROVA does not close roads, reserve trails, control intersections, or provide Course marshals.
- Obey signs, signals, traffic laws, park rules, and land-manager closures.
- Yield appropriately and be considerate of pedestrians, riders, wildlife, and other trail users.
- Stop the Run when conditions feel unsafe. A posted time is never worth an injury.
Phone And GPS
- Charge your phone and allow precise and background location before starting.
- Secure the phone on your body and avoid handling it while moving.
- ROVA may need several seconds at the start to establish accurate GPS.
- If the finish is not detected, move to a safe location before using the manual finish option.
Emergencies And Course Problems
ROVA is not an emergency or live-monitoring service. Call 911 for an emergency. Report hazards, closures, confusing access, GPS problems, or unsafe Course conditions through the app or by emailing support@rova.run.
ROVA may pause or remove a Course when conditions change.
