Terms of Use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to participate safely. Provide accurate account and competition information, keep your password secure, and use only your own account. ROVA may suspend accounts that are inaccurate, shared, abusive, or used to manipulate competition.

ROVA is currently a test service. Features, Course availability, scoring, data, and access may change. Runs or results may be corrected, removed, or restored while we test. The beta may be interrupted or discontinued without notice and does not guarantee access to a future paid Season.

ROVA Courses use public roads, sidewalks, parks, stairs, and trails. They are not closed courses and are not continuously supervised. You are responsible for choosing whether conditions, traffic, weather, terrain, daylight, health, equipment, and local rules make a Run appropriate.

Obey traffic laws, posted closures, land-manager rules, and instructions from public officials. Do not trespass or place speed above your safety or the safety of others.

Running and trail activity involve risks including falls, collisions, vehicles, wildlife, altitude, heat, cold, storms, poor air quality, uneven ground, remote locations, and physical injury. To the extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the risks of participating and remain responsible for your health and emergency planning. ROVA is not medical advice or an emergency service.

Record Runs on foot, carry the device associated with your account, follow the mapped Course, and do not falsify GPS or identity information. ROVA may review raw GPS data and may decline to post, adjust, or remove a time when the full Course cannot be confirmed or fair-play rules are not met. Confirmed Season Run performance details, including finish time, average pace, mile splits, placement, and points, may be visible to signed-in runners.

GPS, phones, networks, maps, and automatic finish detection can be inaccurate or unavailable. ROVA does not guarantee that every Run will record, finish, upload, or appear in Standings. Use the in-app Run issue option when something goes wrong.

You retain ownership of profile content you provide and grant ROVA permission to display it as needed to operate the service. Do not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, or abusive content or interfere with ROVA systems or other runners.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ROVA is provided as-is and without warranties. ROVA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from beta use or participation. These terms are governed by Colorado law.
